Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Salvus Industries("Risepair", "we", "us") for your use of the Risepair service. By creating an account or using Risepair, you agree to these Terms.
1. Agreement
By signing up, signing in, or otherwise using Risepair you confirm that you have read these Terms and our Privacy Policy and that you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Risepair.
- You must not have been previously banned from Risepair for a violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement under Indian law.
3. Your account
- Provide truthful information when you sign up — real name, real age, real photos of you.
- Do not impersonate another person and do not create accounts on behalf of someone else.
- Do not share your account credentials with anyone. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Keep your contact email up to date so we can reach you about your account.
4. Community standards & acceptable use
Detailed rules live in our Acceptable Use Policy. A short summary: be honest, be respectful, no harassment, no sexual content, no scams, no underage users, no impersonation. Violations can result in warnings, suspension, or permanent bans.
5. Content you post
- You retain ownership of the content you post — photos, bio, messages, quest check-ins.
- You grant Risepair a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of running the service for you and the users you choose to interact with.
- This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required for the limited periods described in our Privacy Policy.
- You confirm that the content you post is yours to share and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
6. Verification
Identity verification via DigiLocker eKYC is optional. Some features — including matching — may require verification to ensure age and identity. You can choose not to verify, in which case your access to some features may be limited.
7. Subscriptions and payments
- Risepair is currently free to use.
- If we introduce paid tiers in future, we will publish pricing clearly before charging anyone and we will not auto-enrol existing accounts into paid features without explicit opt-in.
- Any future subscriptions will state the renewal terms upfront and will not auto-renew without your prior consent.
8. Termination
- You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. Deletion follows the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.
- We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, if continued service would create legal risk for us or others, or if your account has been inactive for an extended period.
- Where reasonable, we will tell you the reason for any termination so you can respond or appeal.
9. Limitation of liability
Risepair is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties about uptime, the behaviour of other users, the accuracy of any match, or any outcome you achieve from using the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Risepair and Salvus Industries are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the total fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or — if you paid no fees — at ₹5,000.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Salvus Industries harmless against any third-party claims arising from (a) your misuse of the service, (b) content you post that infringes another person's rights, or (c) your violation of these Terms.
11. Disputes & governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Risepair shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala. We encourage you to email the grievance officer first — most disputes can be resolved that way.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email and through an in-app banner at least seven (7) days before the new Terms take effect. Continued use of Risepair after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not accept them, delete your account before that date.
