Acceptable Use Policy

Risepair only works if people show up honestly. This Acceptable Use Policy explains the behaviours we will not tolerate. It applies to every part of the service — your profile, your messages, your check-ins, your conversations with Mira, and your interactions with other users.

Violations can result in content removal, a warning, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban, at our discretion and proportional to the severity.

What is not allowed

Harassment, hate, and threats

• Harassing, stalking, or intimidating any user
• Hate speech or slurs targeting people for caste, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability, or any protected characteristic
• Threats of violence, in any form

Sexual content

• Risepair is dating-adjacent — it is not an adult service. Sexual photos, sexual messages, and solicitation of either are not allowed.
• Any sharing of intimate imagery without the depicted person's clear consent is prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement.

Identity & honesty

• No catfishing — your photos must be of you, your name and age must be real, and you must not pretend to be someone else.
• No multiple accounts for the same person, unless we have explicitly enabled linked accounts for you.
• No impersonation of public figures, businesses, or other Risepair users.

Age

• Risepair is 18+ only. Accounts that appear underage will be suspended pending verification and deleted if the user cannot confirm they are 18 or above.
• Helping a person under 18 access the service is itself a violation.

Spam, scams, and commercial misuse

• No spam, no mass-message campaigns, no link drops
• No solicitation for MLM, crypto pumps, "investment" opportunities, gambling, or any other financial scheme
• No commercial advertising without our written permission
• No prostitution or escort-style solicitation

Privacy of others

• Do not share personal information about another user — their address, phone number, workplace, or photos — without their clear consent.
• Do not screenshot and publish private conversations from Risepair to shame or harass another user.

Illegal content & activity

• Nothing that is illegal under Indian law — including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, content that incites violence, content that infringes copyright, and the sale of regulated goods.

Breaking the service

• No scraping, automated data collection, or large-scale data extraction
• No attempts to bypass rate limits, authentication checks, or content filters
• No probing for vulnerabilities outside of a coordinated disclosure process (write to salvuspaul.dev@gmail.com first)

Self-harm & eating disorders

Content that promotes or glorifies self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders is not allowed. If you are struggling, Mira will gently redirect you to support — including helplines like iCall (9152987821) and Vandrevala (1860-2662-345). You can also reach out to them directly.

How to report a violation

If another user is violating this policy, use the report action on their profile or in chat. Reports reach our admin team and are reviewed in the order received. For urgent safety issues, email salvuspaul.dev@gmail.com with the username and a short description.

How we enforce

• We will typically warn first, suspend second, and ban for severe or repeated violations.
• For serious safety, age, or legal issues, we will skip warnings and act immediately.
• You may appeal a suspension or ban by writing to the grievance officer.
